Remember that scene in the second Matrix movie where Neo meets the Architect of the Matrix? In today’s message, I will convey the significance of that scene and what it means for you and your life.

You don’t need to have watched The Matrix movie. What I’ll share is a common formula in all science fiction films. All of them have a crescendo moment where the villain confesses and explains their bad deeds. This part is critical. It represents the entire reason – the alpha and the omega – of why movies are made. Everything else, all those expensive CGI-filled segments are nothing but the delivery vehicle.

So let's look at that scene.

According to the Architect of the Matrix, humans had rejected the earlier versions of his Matrix. In time, he realised that humans could only accept the program “as long as they were given a choice. Ever if they were aware of the choice at a near unconscious level.”

This is where the parrallels between The Matrix and the real world start to emerge.

Throughout history, keeping populations enslaved never worked in the long term. Humans always pushed back when they were deprived of choice. A 19th century slave (or prisoner) had very little choice, so he would do anything to escape his bondage.

The Achilles heel of primitive forms of slavery is that they failed to give people choice. That’s why they didn’t last.

Democracy, on the other hand, is all about choice.

Democracy is the illusion that all it takes is showing up at the ballot box every four years.

Truth is, modern democracies constitute the most oppressive regimes in human history. What's more, everyone knows this. Everyone, including you, despite your probable disagreement as you read this. Not only that, but everyone was given a choice.

“What are you talking about, nobody ever gave me that type of choice.”

Yes, they did. And here lies one of the most misunderstood “consp1racy th3ories” ever devised. You’ve probably heard of it. It’s called pr3d1ctive pr0gramming.

The purpose of movies like The Matrix, series like Black Mirror, and pretty much any Hollywood movie produced in the last few decades is for the architects of “our democracy” to tell you what they are about to do to you. The reason they tell you is because they need your consent. Without “choice” you would never consent to anyone undermining your interests. You would never allow anyone to harm or enslave you.

And if you don't think that you can "program" someone's choice, then you probably haven’t majored in advertising.

As it turns out, much of what we do is driven by choice that is subconscious. All it takes is for the inception of an idea that our subconscious will accept. And behavioral scientists have long understood that the way to convince our subconscious is through emotion, not reason.

Well, guess what Hollywood movies are all about. They put their audience in a trance, a dream, a hypnosis. And then they program their subconscious with a choice. Once they are back in the real world, those humans are under the illusion that the choice was theirs. They therefore defend it as an integral part of themselves.

Indeed, you and I are under hypnosis.

Pr3d1ctive pr0gramming is everywhere. You can find it in all recent Hollywood movies, TV series, adverts, magazines, and all mass media.

Over the last couple of years, some newspapers even bundled George 0rwell’s 1984 into their Sunday edition. Gee, I wonder why? That book pretty much spells out their multi-generational plan for humanity. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” they say right in your face.

Now, here is where it gets hairy for us humans.

As Yuval Harari writes in his book Homo Deus, humans going forward are more likely to die from suicide than from starvation.

Why would he say that?

A subconscious act of self-sacrifice

Many of the people I talk to are at a loss. They cannot understand how their families, their coworkers, and friends from childhood could ever comply with mandates that go against their own well-being and that of their loved ones.

Well, now we understand why.

Throughout history, all types of self-harm were a conscious choice. We are now entering an age where that choice becomes subconscious.

Over the last couple of years, billions of humans subconsciously chose to devote themselves to an idea that transcends their individual self-interest.

And, yes, there is historical precedence. In the 20th century millions of humans took their faith away from their fellow humans (and families) and placed it in various collective mind-constructs whose names ended in –ism.

Fast forward a few decades, and a substantial part of humanity now carries a subconscious idea that their fellow humans are dangerous: dangerous to the environment, to the animals, to women, to dozens of genders, and to each other.

They view humans as the problem.

So they subconsciously "choose" what they believe is the right way forward: they exit from this plane of existence, and they take as many of their fellow humans with them as they possibly can – because that is the right thing to do.

Now – let’s look at this recent piece on the New York Times. Beautiful isn’t it?

That type of content would never have made it to mainstream news if people weren't given a choice about it long ago. The Soylent Green classic aired back in 1973. They told us back then. The Matrix told us in 1999. The Road told us in 2009, and so it goes.

Pr3d1ctive pr0gramm1ng explains the mystery of why intelligent people can act at their detriment. Those people have chosen. They’ve chosen an ideology. You could call it a cult, but there is another word that is more apropos. I’m referring to a belief system that is the exact inversion of traditional religions around the world. But that is a story for another day.
